Fulcrum Systems (North Sydney, New South Wales, Australia)
Fulcrum Systems required project management and technical assistance for the development and commercialisation of the BSD (Building Signature Design) building design product. Based on a pre-existing reinforced concrete (RC) building design tool, Avesta Consulting assisted with the development of comprehensive design features and visualisation tools for the commercial BSD product to allow design of fully code-compliant vertical and lateral stability elements in high rise buildings.
What we did:
- Project management including software development planning, project scheduling and budgeting.
- Product design including application UI feature and functionality definition, design engine logic and algorithm specification and development.
- Product validation and testing.
- Development of user documentation including online help content, tutorials and verification manual.
- Market research, website content development and commercial strategy planning.
Outcome:
Avesta Consulting successfully led the BSD software development program to a commercially viable RC building design product that is now undergoing user beta testing on commercial high-rise building projects.
